Whilst most of us know Gordon Ramsay for his outspoken and rather volatile antics in the kitchen, there's a much softer side that he keeps off the tele.
Joining the BBC family for a new cooking show, Future Food Stars, Gordon will be putting twelve food entrepreneurs head to head to gain an investment of £150,00 to help grow their food businesses. With the ironic acronym of FFS, the show is expected to churn out something akin to Hell's Kitchen meets The Apprentice.
Fans of the Kitchen Nightmares star will be tuning in with hopes of hearing some fresh insults and scalding comments and no doubt there'll be plenty. But Gordon has shown a much softer side not usually seen in many of his reality programmes.

Gordon has often been filmed working closely with the younger generation of cooks in Masterchef Juniors, ditching the insults for compliments as he builds young hopefuls up to be the best they can be. He even went viral for his kind words to Masterchef's 2012 winner Christine Ha as he moved the blind cook to tears with his appreciation.
Despite his grizzly on-screen appearances, Gordon is prone to showing a softer side when it comes to family, even shedding a tear for his daughter Tilly Ramsay as she appeared on BBC's Strictly Come Dancing. He has also recently hit back at claims he should "feel bad" at staying with his family in Cornwall.
No one is denying chef Ramsay can get heated when he needs to but he's shown he's a bit of a family man. That being said, here's a deeper look into Ramsay and his personal life.
His wife Tana Ramsay
Tana and Gordon tied the knot all the way back in 1996 having been married for over 25 years now. Despite having heavy work routines, with Gordon being a head chef and Tana as a school teacher, the couple still managed to find time for each other and made it work.
Gordon originally met Tana as she was dating one of his friends. Tana has admitted he never made a move while they were together and instead waited until their relationship ended and asked for his friends blessing to ask his now wife out.
Working alongside her husband, Tana has released multiple cookbooks. Sharing secrets from the Ramsay household, she released Tana Ramsay’s Family Kitchen. Although she's been on the receiving end of criticism, saying she's "cashing in" on her husband's fame, Gordon has said he "loves" his wife's work.
Megan, Holly, Jack, Tilly and Oscar Ramsay
Tana and Gordon, along with building a successful career and marriage together, became the proud parents to five children. The eldest is Megan Ramsay who has managed to keep a relatively low profile from the media.
Apart from a guest appearance on Hell's Kitchen where she celebrated her birthday, the 23-year-old isn't as keen to jump into the spotlight like some of her siblings. His daughter Holly is somewhat of a social media star sporting over 1.2million likes on TikTok and often sharing videos of her and her father together. Holy has goals of becoming a mental health advocate and works closely with psychotherapist, Talitha Fosh, on their podcast together.
Holly's fraternal twin is Jack Ramsay as they share a 1 Jan birthday. The 22-year-old has joined the Royal Marines after being somewhat of a sports star. Jack was a part of the Jiu-Jitsu, rugby and even water polo teams in school, following in the steps of his father who used to be a professional footballer for Rangers FC.
Daughter Matilda "Tilly" Ramsay has been front and centre of the camera multiple times, competing in BBC dancing show Strictly Come Dancing where she made it to week ten. Dancing shoes aside, Tilly has shown a keen interest in following in her parents' footsteps as she's hosted CBBC cooking show Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch along with releasing her own cookbook titled Matilda & The Ramsay Bunch: Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover.
The latest addition to the Ramsay clan is Oscar Ramsay who is just under three years old. Both Tana and Gordon have said they don't plan on having any more children.
Before the fame
Gordon grew up in Stratford Upon-Avon at the age of nine where he lived with his three parents and siblings. Despite his broad English accent, he has been quick off the mark to correct people on his nationality.
Even though the cook has lived in England for the majority of his life, he actually moved from Scotland. A proud Scotsman despite his accent, Gordon was actually born in the town of Johnstone. Fans may go back and forth over whether or not he can pull the accent off but he's made it very clear he will always identify with his hometown's nationality.
His passion for football
What a lot of people may not know about the foul-mouthed Michelin Star chef is he almost had a career as a professional footballer. Keeping with his Scottish roots, Ramsay was discovered by Scottish League's Rangers Football Club whilst playing for Oxford United.
Though his career was short-lived as he never managed to get on the pitch due to injury, he was credited by the team as a trialist during a testimonial game in 1985. Speaking on his time training with the team, he said: "I did very well. I was a naturally aggressive left-back, a cut-throat tackler. You may have got past once but there was never, ever, ever a second occasion. And I was fast, I was a great 100m sprinter. If you were to compare me to anyone, I guess it could be Stuart Pearce."
Gordon's new show Future Food Stars stats 31 March at 9pm.
