A helicopter crashed into a field in Co Kildare this evening, as gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene.
The incident happened this evening near Kilcullen and emergency officials are currently at the scene of the crash.
The number of people who were on board the helicopter when it crashed is not yet known.
The Air Accident Investigation Unit (AAIU) has also been notified about the crash and three of their investigators have been sent to the scene.

In a tweet from their official Twitter account, the AAIU wrote: "The AAIU has been notified of an occurrence involving a light helicopter approximately 6km south-east of Kilcullen, Co. Kildare.
"Three Inspectors of Air Accidents are deploying to the site to commence an investigation."
