Helen Skelton has revealed that she has drafted her mum in to help juggle work and three kids following her split from husband, Richie Myler. The Countryfile star said that, ordinarily, Monday mornings are "chaos", but said that it is "uncharacteristically calm" now that her mum is on hand to help.
Helen, 38, announced in April this year that she and Richie were no longer together. The Leeds rugby star left the family home just four months after the birth of the couple's third child.
The pair had been married for nine years and recently welcomed the arrival of their daughter, Elsie Kate. The former couple are also parents to four-year-old Louis and six-year-old Ernie, the Daily Record reports.

Helen has largely kept quiet about the split ever since the original announcement, which she made in an Instagram post. But appearing on this morning's episode of Lorraine, she was asked how she was doing following the "rough time".
Lorraine said: "Helen, it's so good to see you. You've had a bit of a rough time, I know. But the best way to get over stuff is to just get out there again - out there working." Helen candidly replied that "anybody in my position would say the same".
Helen added: "It's uncharacteristically calm around here this morning because I'm working this week. My mum has come to stay for the week, because she doesn't live near, so she's got the kids off to school.
"Monday morning when you've got to get the kids to school is just... It's the same drill every day but somehow it's always chaos! 'Get the socks on, get their shoes on, where's their school bags?!' So, mum's in control but she forgot to put her granny magic onto the dogs, sorry!"
Loud barking could be heard throughout the interview. She was appearing on the show from her home in Leeds.
Helen announced the news of her and Richie's split, on Instagram in April. In a brief post, she said: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
