Helen Skelton has debuted a gorgeous new look in her first red carpet appearance since her shock marriage split after eight years. The Countryfile presenter attended the Sports Industry Awards at Evolution in London on Thursday night (May 12).
It is the first time Helen has been seen at an event since she announced the breakdown of her marriage to Richie Myler. Last month, Helen announced her split from the former Warrington rugby league player - fourth months after they welcomed their third child together - a daughter named Elsie Kate.
"Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple," Helen wrote. "He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co parent our small children." The emotional message was accompanied with two broken heart emojis and came just hours after Helen had shared a lengthy message about the struggles of motherhood.

The couple married in 2013 and during that time they also became proud parents to sons Ernie, six, and Louis, four. But on Thursday night Helen put her family situation behind her as she hit the red carpet. The 38-year-old wore an off-white dress complete with a ruffled detail on the neckline and a floaty hem finishing just above her ankles.
She wore a pair of black heels with see-through panels and accessorised with a black bag and a chunky chain. The mum-of-three also switched up her hairstyle by ditching her blonde tresses for an ash blonde hue with highlights of pink and purple.
Helen was seen posing on the red carpet with Sky Sports News presenter Bela Shah who looked glamorous in a pink dipped-hem satin dress which she paired with a pair of glitzy, barely-there heels.
A week before announcing her split in her short statement, Helen was posting snaps looking happy on what seemed to be a family holiday, although Richie wasn't seen in the pics. It has since been reported that the sportsman has begun a new relationship with the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for.
Richie, however, is yet to make a comment on his split while Helen hasn't commented further on their separation.
