Former Strictly star and farming presenter Helen Skelton's live link on ITV's Lorraine was brilliantly interrupted on Tuesday, April 11, when a lamb "chewed" her cable as she chatted from the middle of a sheep shed in Yorkshire.
Helen was speaking with stand-in presenter Christine Lampard and looking ahead to the return of her Channel 5 farming show, Springtime on the Farm which starts tonight. Helen started off by telling Christine that she was in a pen full of ewes due to give birth any minute and there were dogs and horses about to pop, too.
The the interview stalled a little as Helen said: "I'm not sure if a lamb has chewed my cable but I can't hear a word you're saying." Christine laughed and said: "Can you hear me now Helen? Are the lambs being naughty behind you?"

Helen was silent as Christine said: "She's gone. That is what happens when you're live from the farm, isn't it? I think she has. I think she has gone. We will try and get her back, anyway. There's a lot going on with Helen on the farm this morning. Hopefully we will be able to get her back and see some lambs on the show later today. Hopefully."
And thankfully they did return to Cannonhall Farm, where Helen spoke about how grounding it was to be amongst the animals and to support their local farms and food producers.
Helen, Adam Henson and Jules Hudson will appear on Springtime on the Farm on Channel 5 from Tuesday April 11 and it will air nightly during this week. Catch up with Lorraine on ITVX.
