"When I'm through, I'm through and I'm through, toodle-oo."
As Liza Minnelli's powerful, yet sultry, Mein Herr lyrics reverberated through the Strictly studio, Helen Skelton's performance was less a subtle swipe and more a pointed gesture at her estranged husband Richie Myler on Friday evening.
Performatively kicking her former relationship to the kerb and shrugging it off, Helen wowed with her couples choice dance to the 1972 Cabaret classic in a black playsuit, stocking-esque tights and heels.
Helen and pro partner Gorka Marquez received a near-perfect score of 39 for the routine, with Craig Revel Horwood being the only judge to not award it with a 10.
The Countryfile presenter, whose marriage to rugby player Richie Myler broke down down earlier this year, has previously admitted that she struggled with her confidence when she first started Strictly.
But it's now clear that her confidence is very much stronger than ever after she gave her fiery performance last week.
Through her routine, Helen delivered a series of messages to her ex - most clearly through her choice of outfit, which has been compared to Princess Diana's famous 'revenge dress'.
“With echoes of Princess Diana’s ‘revenge dress’, Helen also wore a (very) little black number, cinched at the waist and making her look seriously hot," body language expert Jo Hemmings told The Sun.
She went on to suggest that Helen's moves - which included doing the splits on Gorka's back - where "equally suggestive and showed off her "fit and flexible body".
"These are hot and sensual positions, oozing sex appeal and very possibly showing her ex just what he is missing," she said.
Helen also appeared to give her ex the middle finger during the line: "“Bye bye, mein lieber herr, It was a fine affair but now it’s over."
The body language expert pointed out that Helen brushed her middle finger up her cheek "in a not-so-veiled message to tell Richie where he can go".
There was one pertinent line that Helen mimed as she looked straight down the camera - "You're better off without me."
"She managed to mouth the line ‘You’re better off without me’ with smouldering eyes, direct into the camera," the body language expert said. "No more direct message to her ex than that!"
