Helen Skelton's ex husband Richie Myler has welcomed a child with new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill, just over a year from his marriage split from the Strictly Come Dancing star.
Months before she was confirmed on the line-up for Strictly 2022, Helen made headlines after she and rugby player Richie parted ways, not long after the birth of their youngest child Elsie.
The couple also had sons Ernie and Louis together and now Richie has become a dad for the fourth time. While neither Richie or AStepjhanoie have yet to make any public announcement on the birth, The Mirror reports that Richie's coach at Leeds Rhinos, Rohan Smith, let the cat out the bag, while explaining his absence from a match at the weekend.

He is reported to have said: "Richie has spent a bunch of time in hospital with the birth of his new little baby, so we've given him a little time off to settle in at home."

Helen's split from Richie was addressed on a number of occasions during the former Blue Peter presenter's stint on Strictly. While not mentioning him by name or going into detail about the split, Helen's professional dance partner Gorka Marquez hinted at difficulties the 39-year-old had overcome in her personal life, when he paid an emotional tribute to her life on air.
He told her: "Can I just say something? I know you've been having a difficult time and you've been...you may feel like you're not beautiful or good enough or anything, but if you don't believe in yourself, I believe in you; everybody here believes in you."
As Strictly host Claudia Winll;eman also offered her support to Helen, Gorka added: ""It doesn't matter how many times I say it, or the judges say it, it's only you who can make the change and is the one who can believe in you. You are an amazing woman, you're inspirational; an amazing mum and incredible dancer, so believe in yourself please."
Last week, Helen avoided a potentially awkward run-in with Richie as she hosed live rugby coverage for Channel 4 from Leeds Rhinos' ground.
