Helen Skelton's estranged husband has reportedly gone on holiday with his new girlfriend, just weeks after the pair split.
Rugby player Richie Miller, 31, left the home they shared together in April just four months after the Countryfile presenter gave birth to their third child.
The couple had been together for nine years and are parents to four-month-old Elsie, Louis (four) and six-year-old Ernie.
It has been reported that Richie has "started a romance" with a woman just weeks after their split and The Sun claims that he is "riding out the storm" with his new lover.
A source told the publication: "He said he was going on holiday.
"It’s thought he’s taken his new missus so they can be out of the public eye."
They added that Helen was holding it well together, despite being "blindsided" by the new relationship.
It is believed that mutual friends of the couple believe that Richie has treated Helen "appallingly" and that it had been a shock to see him move on so quickly.
The Mirror has reached out to Helen's reps for comment.
Helen previously shared the news of her separation from Richie on Instagram and wrote: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
It came shortly after Helen shared a cryptic quote about the struggles of motherhood.
Helen appeared to suggest she was having a tough time when she re-shared: "A mama is always full of emotions, full of love, full of anxiety and worries, full of exhaustion and lack of energy, full of mum guilt and doubt, full of pride in her kids, full of pure joy.
"She feels it all, that’s the beauty of her, she carries it all too, and yet she gets up every day and does it all over again."
The couple welcomed their third child - and first daughter - Elsie Kate on December 31.
They took to Instagram to share the happy news as Richie carried Elsie out of hospital.
"Can always count on dickie …. of all the things he’s said (there’s been a lot) “don’t worry I will be your lido…” while on route to hospital might be my fave. The man meant Doula. From the mouths of men," Helen penned at the time.
"But mainly because I am still failing to find appropriate words of thanks for our @nhsengland @nhsmillion …. legends the blooming lot of them," she added.
The former couple first met through friends and began dating in 2011, marrying just two years later in December 2013.
They moved to France in 2015 after rugby player Richie played for the Catalan Dragons, but later returned to the UK to live in Leeds.
