Strictly Come Dancing star Helen Skelton has had her say on the news ex Richie Myler will soon become a father again.
The collapse of the marriage of Helen Skelton, 39, and Leeds Rhinos player Richie Myler, 32, earlier this year, has been well-documented. The couple are co-parenting children Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and nine-month-old Elsie.
The rugby player, 32, broke up with ex-Blue Peter presenter Helen, who now hosts Countryfile, in April, just four months after she gave birth to their third child. Furthermore, Richie is set to become a father again with his new partner Stephanie Thirkill.

Helen, who is appearing in the current series of Strictly Come Dancing, has briefly spoken of her marriage break-up with The Telegraph. Addressing the last few months, Helen said: “My family are happy, my kids are happy, and that’s all ultimately that matters.” Helen has confirmed she has now left Leeds and moved back to her parent’s farm in Cumbria.
Discussing her decision to take part in Strictly following such a difficult year Helen admitted she was reluctant. Helen said: “I was talking to my best friend about it and I was like ‘I’m not sure, there’s the kids and the press and it will be full-on’.
“And, she just went, ‘What a t*t, you’re going to get paid to dance around with a fit guy, people are going to put make-up on you, and you’ve got to work. It’s not real life, is it? Why wouldn’t you do it?’.”
In the current series of Strictly, Helen is paired with pro dance partner Gorka Marquez. He recently paid tribute to Helen: “Can I just say something? I know you've been having a difficult time and you've been...you may feel like you're not beautiful or good enough or anything, but if you don't believe in yourself, I believe in you; everybody here believes in you.”
