Helen Skelton was in tears backstage after the Strictly Come Dancing results show on Sunday (October 23).
The mum-of-three, 39, was devastated when Jayde Adams was voted off the programme after losing the dance-off to Mollie Rainford.
Helen and dance partner Gorka Marquez have made it through to Halloween Week - but that didn't stop the Countryfile star from welling up in her Instagram Stories.
Standing next to Gorka, she said: "I'm really happy that we're through and thank you so much for being kind to us. But, I'm crying because Jayde and Karen are our girls, they're our fam, so I'm very sad."
Turning to the father-of-one, she quipped: "So we have to be very good now right?" as he replied: "Just want to thank everybody for your love and support and we're just going to be doing our best."
In a separate post, Helen thanked the viewers once again, writing: "Thank you doesn’t quite cut it!!!
"So grateful for your messages and support. Having a blast, learning loads, and trying our hardest to put a smile on your faces. I hope you’re enjoying the journey as much as we are!"
Helen's emotional posts come after the news Gorka told her to believe in herself on last week's show.
The much-loved presenter has had a lot on her plate following the news her estranged husband Richie Myler is expecting a baby with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill.
Helen announced her split from the rugby player in April, when the former couple's daughter Elsie Kate was just four-months-old.
The mum-of-three was said to have been blindsided by the news her ex had then moved on with the daughter of Leeds Rhinos RC, Stephanie.
Earlier this month, it was reported Stephanie is expecting her first child with Richie.
A mate of Richie's told The Sun the rugby player and Stephanie are extremely happy together.
“The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending."
The pal added: "She is loving every second of Strictly Come Dancing, and is far too busy — and probably knackered — to be worrying about her ex, accordingly, Richie didn’t think it would be a huge problem because they have both moved on with their lives."
The Mirror has approached Helen and Richie's representatives for comment.
