Helen Skelton has reportedly been lined up for Channel 4's Celebs Go Dating following her split from husband Richie Myler last year, and has been offered a healthy pay packet for her appearance.
The 39-year-old TV presenter is currently enjoying single life after her break up from the rugby star in early 2022, not long after she had given birth to their third child Elsie.
And Channel 4 bosses of the hit reality dating show think she would be a perfect fit to have her on the show even allegedly considering offering the Countryfile host "big bucks" to sign up.
Celebs Go Dating sees celebrities try to find love with the help of experts Anna Williamson and Paul C Brunson.
A source told The Sun: “Helen has already proved she is great on TV and is really interesting to watch.
“The public really felt for her after her split and bosses think everyone would love to see her dating journey.
“They are willing to offer her big bucks to take part, but it looks like Helen really isn’t interested in sharing that part of her life. It would take a lot to change her mind.”
Helen, 39, and Richie, 32, separated last year, with Helen going public about their split. The pair have three children together.
But ultimately the couple's eight-year marriage fell apart with the rugby star who has since moved on and is expecting another child with his current girlfriend.
Meanwhile, Helen has reportedly grown close to fellow Strictly star Vito Coppola after going on tour together in a whirlwind of a few months of fun following the separation.
The Mirror claims that the Countryfile presenter and the hunky Italian professional dancer "bonded" after spending a lot of time together on the tour bus.
It’s reported that the pair frequently snuck off on cosy coffee dates for two while on the road, and if the tour cast went out for a group dinner they "would sit together, deep in conversation.”
The source added: "Between shows they also spent time together one-on-one, like going for coffee, just the two of them. Then, if the whole group went for dinner, they would sit together, deep in conversation.
"If anyone pulled out a phone and started filming, Helen would move away from Vito. She didn’t want to be captured in the background."
