Helen Skelton revealed she gave birth to her second child on the kitchen floor whilst her eldest child hit her with a plastic sword.
The terrified TV presenter was at home alone in France when she went into labour and nobody was around to help. The 36-year-old who is now a mum of three says it was the scariest experience of her life.
Not long ago the Countryfile star shared that her most recent baby, four month old Elsie Kate, would be her last after her previous traumatic birth.

The former Blue Peter presenter appeared on ITV' s Lorraine and spoke out about having to give birth to her second son Louis while alone with her eldest child Ernie in France, as her husband was in England at the time.
Helen gave birth alone on the kitchen floor "surrounded by French firemen" as no health professionals nor her husband made it to her in time.
She explained: “I was in France and my husband was in England, and no one made it to me in time.
“So I gave birth with just my three-year-old next to me, repeatedly hitting me on the head with a plastic sword, because he thought we were playing dinosaurs.
“Terrifying. But I didn’t have a choice, I just had to get on with it.
"Nobody wants a load of gorgeous French firemen at their feet while they're delivering a baby, which is what I had…
"They'd never done that before and were so excited, I just said, 'Get back around my head please'." She joked.
The couple returned to the UK just two months later, when Richie joined Leeds Rhinos, while Helen looks back fondly at their time in France, she also revealed admitted to feeling “crushing loneliness” during her time supporting her husbands career abroad.
“I didn’t speak the language and I felt so isolated that I used to go into the local tourist office just to talk to someone who could speak English,” she told the Daily Mail’s You magazine in 2018.
Helen recently announced her split from her husband of eight years, the popular presenter took to social media to confirm the pair were no longer a couple as she announced that Myler had left the family home.
On Instagram, she posted: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co parent our small children." She ended the post with two broken heart emojis.
Rhinos star Myler is currently on the sidelines with an injury but is due to return to the field in the coming weeks. Myler has yet to post on social media since Skleton's announcement.
