Helen Skelton is said to be 'excited to turn the Strictly curse on its head' as she gets ready to slip into sequins in September.
The mum-of-three, 39, joins the show after the breakdown of her marriage to rugby player Richie Myler, 32.
The Countryfile star was reportedly devastated when her ex went public with Stephanie Thirkill - but now she's got an exciting few months ahead of her.
With its history of secret snogs and break-ups, the 'curse' of Strictly is one of the reasons many people watch the show.
However, Helen is reportedly "looking to find someone new" and is "determined to enjoy the show".
A source said: "This is quite the opposite of the Strictly curse - Helen has already lost the love of her life.
"Now she wants to find a new one," they told Closer magazine.
The Mirror has contacted Helen's reps for comment.
The blonde bombshell signed for Strictly days after her ex posted a loved-up picture with his new girlfriend.
Helen said at the weekend she's only just agreed to do the hit BBC show, with sources saying it will be a massive confidence boost for her.
Two weeks earlier, her rugby league star ex posted an image of him and new love Stephanie, also 32, enjoying a Cornish break.
Stephanie’s father Andrew is president of the Leeds Rhinos team for which Richie plays.
In a July 25 Instagram post, in which he is seen cuddling Stephanie, the dad-of-three wrote: “Cornwall was worth a 32 year wait.”
Stephanie replied: ”Thanks for the best weekend! LOVE YOU.”
Helen’s eight-year marriage to Richie ended in April, four months after their third child was born.
The much-loved presenter, who has children Ernie, seven, Louis, five, and Elsie, seven months with her ex, broke the news on Instagram, saying: “Very sad to say Richie and I are no longer a couple.
“He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.”
Thankfully, Helen now has Strictly to look forward to, but admitted she was nervous about taking part - despite being installed as the second favourite at 6/1, behind singer Fleur East at 7/2.
However, something she can't wait to get to grips with is the fashion.
“I just wanted to wear nice dresses," she said. "I work on farms. I watch cows give birth and stand in wellies."
