Helen Skelton has broken her social media silence following the announcement of ex Richie Myler’s new baby.
The Country File presenter stepped out for some family fun on Sunday at the live Kinder Masters of Play Festival at KidZania in West London.
The Strictly Come Dancing star was hosting the event – a promotion for new workshops for parents and children over the Easter holidays – and looked in good spirits as she led a dance class for families.
A couple days before she took to her Instagram account showing her out playing bingo.
The outings come just days after Myler welcomed his first child with girlfriend and first time mother, Stephanie Thirkill – the daughter of Rhinos president Andrew.
Skelton, 39, and the Leeds Rhinos star, 32, who share three children, announced the end of their eight-year marriage exactly one year ago.
The news came five months after welcoming their third child together, a daughter named Elsie.
While Skelton has rarely spoken out about the break-up, she has admitted that she took part in last year’s Strictly because her marriage ended.
“I did Strictly this year because sometimes you just need to jump on the opportunity and chance to put a big smile on your face,” she said last October.
When asked how she felt about the news that Myler was set to welcome a new baby this year, she told The Telegraph: “You cannot have any opinion on anyone else’s life until you’ve walked in those shoes.
“And my family are happy, my kids are happy, and that’s all ultimately that matters."
She also said that she is not concerned about finding love again after her marriage breakdown.
“I’ve got loads to be thankful for. I’m not going to worry about the one thing I haven’t got,” she told the publication.
