Helen Skelton doesn't want any sympathy over her split from ex-husband Richie Myler as her life 'is no different to millions of other people's lives'.
The Countryfile presenter, 39, and the rugby player, 32, tied the knot in 2013 and went on to welcome three children together.
In April 2022, four months after welcoming their daughter Elsie, Helen announced her split from Richie.
He swiftly moved on with his new partner Stephanie Thirkill, who recently gave birth to their first child together.
Helen has been taking life one day at a time and insisted her life isn't any different to anyone else's.
"My life's no different to millions of other people's lives," she said.
"Lots of people have the same sorts of things to look after and sort out."
Helen added to Grazia : "I think life is fun, and short, and wonderful, and you just take each chapter as they come along. There's no point overthinking stuff – you just get on with it."
She added that she has no time to get "stressed about anything else" as she's focused on her children.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Richie became a dad again as his girlfriend Stephanie gave birth.
The star reportedly missed out on his team Leeds Rhinos' match against Hull Kingston Rovers on Friday evening due to the arrival of his fourth child.
It was reported that the Leeds Rhinos boss confirmed the birth of Richie's new baby.
The Rhinos boss said: " Richie has spent a bunch of time in the hospital with the birth of his new little baby, so we've given him a little time off to settle in at home."
It comes several months after it was announced that Richie and Stephanie were expecting their first child together following his split from Helen.
A mate of Richie's previously told The Sun the rugby player and Stephanie are extremely happy together.
“The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.
"But Richie and Helen maintain cordial relations, and in a way the timing is actually perfect as Helen is so happy at the moment," they said.
