Helen Skelton has issued an emotional message to her fans as she returned to our TV screens for the first time following her shock split from her husband.
The Countryfile presenter, 38, returned to our tellies this week for a new five-part series, Summer on the Farm.
Helen will grace living rooms across the country all this week as the Channel 5 show sees Helen and her co-host Martin Hughes-Games celebrate the best of the British countryside live from Cannon Hall Farm in South Yorkshire.
The show is her first presenting gig since she became a single mum-of-three following her shock split from husband Richard Myler, who left their home just four months after she gave birth back in April.
During Monday's episode, Helen returned to her roots as she visited her native Cumbria and took a trip down memory lane.
Taking viewers through the magnificent countryside, she planned on hiking up Buttermere to show off the fantastic views - despite the weather having very different plans for her.
"I grew up around here and it always feels special to come back even if it is a typically murky Cumbrian summers day," Helen told viewers.
"This for me is probably the equivalent of most women going on spa and having a massage.
"Just the space, the view and I think I was probably around 30 when I realised 'oh, green stuff does make me happy' and I know that's a weird thing to say but I was looking out of my window of the house I was living in and I thought 'I love looking at trees'."
The presenter later stopped for a cuppa in the rain and took the opportunity to impart some wisdom on the viewers.
She said: "There is something really grounding about embracing the elements and doing your day anyway.
"It's a good lesson for life. Life throws things at you that you don't want to have to deal with.
"Sometimes you find yourself in a storm you don't really want to be in and if you can find a way to muddle through, you'll come out the other side. And the sun will always come out in the end."
Helen had been with her husband for nine years and the pair share three children together - four-month-old Elsie Kate, four-year-old Louis and six-year-old Ernie.
Richard, 31, "left the family home" after eight years of marriage leaving Helen stunned, and later began a new relationship with the daughter of the multi-millionaire President of the Leeds Rhinos club he plays for.
Helen announced she and her husband are no longer together following an emotional statement on her Instagram story in April.
She wrote: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
It was revealed a few days after that Richie has since been dating Sophie Thirkill - the daughter of the Super League club's president.
Following the split, Richie was pictured enjoying a romantic stroll with his new girlfriend while Helen focused on her career.
Helen has made a handful of appearances since the couple parted ways, and she wowed her followers on Instagram as she shared snaps from her well-deserved day out at Royal Ascot recently.
