Helen Skelton has broken her silence after her ex-husband became a dad again with his new girlfriend, Stephanie Thirkill, giving birth.
The Strictly Come Dancing star, 39, took to social media to post a link to a recent interview hours after her ex's happy baby news emerged.
Helen, who chose not to discuss her split from Leeds Rhinos star Richie, 32, in any length in the interview, posted a link to it on her Instagram Story on Tuesday night.
"Catching up with @graziauk," and "Talking upcoming projects," she wrote alongside snaps of the article.
She also posted pictures from the accompanying photoshoot on her grid, writing: "Always good to catch up with @graziauk. @hattiecrisell looking ahead to some nice projects. #workthatworks #grazia #grateful."
Richie, 32, reportedly missed out on his team Leeds Rhinos' match against Hull Kingston Rovers on Friday evening.
The team's coach Rohan Smith is said to have confirmed Richie's absence was due to the arrival of his fourth child.
The Rhinos boss said: " Richie has spent a bunch of time in hospital with the birth of his new little baby, so we've given him a little time off to settle in at home."
It comes after it was revealed back in October that Richie and Stephanie were expecting their first child together.
A close friend of Richie's told The Sun the rugby player and Stephanie are extremely happy together.
“The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.
"But Richie and Helen maintain cordial relations, and in a way the timing is actually perfect as Helen is so happy at the moment," they said.
At the time of the announcement, Richie later confirmed the pregnancy with a sweet post shared on Instagram back in October.
In the black-and-white photo, Stephanie placed her hands on his face while he placed his hands on her waist.
He had his eyes closed as the two beamed at each other. Richie simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji.
Richie already shares three children, Ernie, Louis and Elsie, with his ex-wife Helen.
Strictly Come Dancing star Helen announced her split from Richie in April last year, four months after welcoming their daughter Elsie together.
Helen shared two heartbreak emojis as she shared an emotional message with fans.
"Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple," she wrote.
"He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
The pair married in 2013 before they split in 2022.
