Richard Myler reportedly has a new, younger flame after his separation from wife Helen Skelton was announced.
The Countryfile presenter issued a heartbreaking statement on Instagram confirming the breakup of their eight year marriage on Monday night.
She said the rugby player had 'left the family home' just months after the birth of their youngest child this past December, the Mirror reports.
Helen, 38, and Richie, 31, are parents to three young children - Ernie, six, Louis, four, and Emma Kate, four months.
Now days after the announcement, a report from The Sun has emerged that Richie has 'started a romance' with a new woman a number of weeks after his split from Helen.
Richie's pals have claimed the sports star has 'seen the young businesswoman several times recently' as their friendship has continued to grow.
Insiders claim that Richie is in 'the very early stages of a relationship' with the mystery new woman and it came after his split from Helen.
"Richie appears to have been spending a lot of his free time with this younger, successful businesswoman," an insider told The Sun.
"They are now in the early stages of a relationship," they added.
The Mirror has reached out to representatives of Richie and Helen for further comment.
It comes after Helen stunned fans with a statement confirming her marriage to Richie was over on Monday.
In a short statement, Helen penned: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home.
"We will be doing our best to co parent our small children."
Helen's statement came shortly after the mum-of-three shared a cryptic quote about the struggles of motherhood.
The Countryfile star appeared to suggest she was having a tough time when she re-shared: "A mama is always full of emotions, full of love, full of anxiety and worries, full of exhaustion and lack of energy, full of mum guilt and doubt, full of pride in her kids, full of pure joy.
"She feels it all, that’s the beauty of her, she carries it all too, and yet she gets up every day and does it all over again."
Richie, who is a rugby star who plays for Leeds Rhinos, has yet to publicly address his separation with Helen.
Helen and Richie have had a busy couple of months after welcoming their third child - and first daughter - Elsie Kate on December 31st.
The two had been married for eight years after tying the knot in December 2013.
