Helen Mirren, 76, has ultra glam makeover as she dances with Andie MacDowell at Cannes

Dame Helen Mirren looked out of this world with her glam makeover as she danced down the Cannes red carpet.

The actress, 76, oozed ageless beauty as she joined veteran Andie MacDowell for a little dance down the red carpet at the premiere of Mother And Son.

Helen had pulled out all the stops with long hair extensions which she wore in an elegant half-up half-down do.

She went for a bold look with dark smokey-eye make-up and pink lipstick and posed for the camera.

The actress looked elegant in a long-sleeved silver beaded dress while 64-year-old Andie looked stylish in a striped brown gown.

The duo, who worked together in the 2021 film On The Edge, were full of joy as they danced and twirled at the event.

Andie added a little pop of colour with bright lipstick and dark eye make-up.

Stars of Mother And Son include Stephane Bak, Annabelle Lengronne and Ahmed Sylla.

The movie follows Rose, played by Annabelle, as she moves from the Ivory Coast to Paris with her two young sons.

Spanning 20 years from the family’s arrival in France to the present day, the film chronicles their highs and lows.

Directed by French filmmaker Leonor Serraille, it sees Stephane and Ahmed play Rose’s sons as adults.

Meanwhile, this year's Cannes Festival isn't the first time Dame Helen proved to the world she is a fashion icon.

It seems France is the perfect place for Helen as she reigned over the catwalk at Paris Fashion Week last year.

She recently won a Lifetime Achievement Award (Getty Images for WarnerMedia)

She looked incredible stepping onto the runway in the L'Oréal Paris show in October donning a monochrome trouser suit for the iconic fashion event.

But, by far the most dramatic transformation was her face with a heavy black eye make-up look coupled with a sleek high top bun.

She completed her look with a pair of black chunky platform heels which she effortlessly strutted down the catwalk in.

Model, fashion icon and an actress... What can't Dame Helen do?

Meanwhile, earlier this year, The Queen actress won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 28th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.

In her speech, she said she liked to "think inside the box" as she dedicated the accolade to her fellow actors.

And she started her speech by joking: "Lifetime achievement, that sounds so grand. I suppose I'm alive so by that measure I'm eligible."
