Helen Flanagan shares sweet detail behind night out with daughters after former co-star called her 'obsessed'

Helen Flanagan shared a sweet detail behind her trip out with her daughters as they hit the red carpet. The former Coronation Street star took Matilda and Delilah out for a treat night as they headed to watch the pantomime in Manchester.

The trio headed to see comedian Jason Manford and former Britain's Got Talent star Ben Nickless in Peter Pan at the Manchester Opera House. Helen and Matilda, seven, both appeared on the red carpet on Tuesday evening (December 13) ahead of heading in to watch the show which is part of a festive tradition for many.

Mum-of-three Helen, 32, cut a casual yet stylish figure as she posed for the camera while wrapping up war in black and pink fur-trimmed coat. While mutch of her outfit was covered by her snazzy coat, Helen could be seen opting to don a pair of grey trousers and comfy black clogs, while she popped her belongings in a Dior bag.

She kept her makeup quite fresh and simple and tied back her blonde tresses into a low ponytail. Matilda, meanwhile, dazzled in a sparkly blue dress which she wore under a powder blue coat with pink tights and gold trainers.

While she didn't hit the red carpet with her mum, who played Rosie Webster in Corrie, and her older sister, four-year-old Delilah was also in attendance and looked adorable in a skirt which matched her sister's dress which she wore with a long-sleeved blue knit.

And taking to her Instagram Story, Helen shared the sweet detail behind Delilah's trip out. Posting a photo of her with a friend, the Bury-born soap star, who also shares one-year-old son Charlie with footballer Scott Sinclair, wrote: "I can't. Delilah's turn to have an outing with her best friend. Look at her face.

"So proud of how well Delilah has settled into reception. Amazing night @palaceandopera." She then shared a photo of them cuddling up together inside the theatre and wrote: "Love her so much."

Her night out with her girls comes after friend and former Corrie co-star Lucy Fallon called her 'obsessed' when it comes to her children. Speaking to OK at her baby shower, the former Bethany Platt actress said of Helen: " She’s good, she seems normal and happy," Lucy said.

"I recently filmed Pointless with her, so we were in London together. I’ve never known somebody who’s… obsessed is the wrong word, but she just loves those kids." As mentioned, Lucy was talking to the publication at her baby shower alongside her former soap star pals, including Helen, and 100 guests at the Shankly Hotel in Liverpool.

"Everything she does is for her children," Lucy continued. And you can really tell, with the way she speaks about everything." Last week Helen was defended by fans after she showed off her daughters' bedroom. The 32-year-old had filmed an ad with her two eldest children, seven-year-old Matilda and four-year-old Delilah which shows them both sharing a princess-themed bedroom.

And while many of Helen's followers were quick to gush over the cuteness of the video, others were a bit more critical of the setup.H owever, Helen's loyal fans were quick to speak out in her defence.
