Helen Flanagan has spoken about her time living in Glasgow and says she 'really did love Celtic'.
Helen's former fiance Scott Sinclair played for the club between 2016-2020, and the actress moved up to Glasgow to be with her then partner with their daughter Matilda. The pair welcomed second child Delilah after Helen gave birth at the city's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital,
Scott then left the club in January 2020, and the pair moved to Cheshire. They welcomed their third child, Charlie, in 2021 before the couple called time on their 13-year relationship last year. But it seems they are co-parenting very well, as Helen still talks about the dad her three children with affection on her stories, as well as her time up here in Scotland.
The former Celtic WAG took part in an Instagram Q&A, where she was asked 'what football club has left a sentimental feeling to you?'.
Helen replied by sharing a snap of her eldest child wearing a Celtic strip and said that the Glasgow side always has a special place in her heart.
She wrote: "I'm proud of everything Scott has achieved. I did really love Celtic, I did a lot with the other girls there. The girls absolutely love watching their daddy play for @official_brfc It's hard to move children around when they start school."
When Helen left Glasgow she shared a special Instagram post in which she spoke about how much the city means to her.
At the time she wrote: "Glasgow will always have such a special place in my heart. I have the happiest memories of my life so far in Glasgow.
"Matilda was only one when we moved here and has a Scottish accent. Delilah was born in Glasgow.
"My wee baby is Scottish and will always be a Glasgow girl. I have made life long friends who I care and love [them] so much.
"This is my favourite picture in Glasgow at Kelvingrove Park. Thank you for all your lovely messages, it made me emotional to read them."
Helen has always been very open about her love for Glasgow and says she tries to visit as often as she can.
The ex-Corrie star headed to Glasgow just after Christmas to be a bridesmaid for her pal Libby Smith.
The daughter of Rangers legend Gordon Smith tied the knot in a secret ceremony on the banks of Loch Fyne but held a separate swanky wedding reception just before new year.
Helen travelled up from her home in Cheshire and stayed at the Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel in Glasgow.
Celebrity hairstylist Pam Doc shared pictures of the stunning bridal party, which showcased Libby's stunning long sleeved dress from Reeta's fashions, alongside her glitzy bridesmaids, which included Helen in a silver sequin dress, holding a single red rose.
The 32-year-old also travelled up with her three children and enjoyed some time in the city catching up with friends and making more happy memories with her family.
