Helen Flanagan posted an emotional rant on her Instagram on Wednesday saying she feels "judged" as a mum following her split from fiance Scott Sinclair.
The actress, 32, and footballer Scott, 33, share three kids together but called it quits on their relationship last month. And now she has candidly spoke about her experience of being a mum on social media.
The former Corrie star raged at an experience she encountered last week, saying it left her feeling "annoyed".
Speaking to her one million followers on the social media platform, she began: "I'm quite good I think at controlling my emotions, I'm quite busy, but I always have emotional outbursts when I'm due on...
"This is like a long story short, but I get, I was really annoyed last week because I won't go into too much detail but basically I hate it when mums are made to feel uncomfortable in kind of like I don't know..."
She continued: "I didn't have Matilda young but youngish and I've always gone everywhere with my kids, like flown with them, trains, hotels and I've just literally always gone where I want to go.
"I just don't like it when you get people who basically are being rubbish towards you because you've got kids and you're a mum, basically giving you the evils."
She went on to say she understood she was "probably babbling" but had to get it off her chest as it's a situation which really annoys her when people aren't nice to mothers.
Despite ending their 13-year relationship, Helen and Scott are said to be keen to co-parent Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and one-year-old Charlie. A source told The Sun at the time of their split: "Helen and Scott are committed to co-parenting their kids, even if they are no longer a couple."
While there may be new relationships on the horizon in the future, Helen recently admitted she'd love a return to Coronation Street after making her name on the cobbles as Rosie Webster.
Helen spent almost two decades on the long-running soap before quitting in 2018 and now believes it could be the perfect time to return.
Speaking to the Daily Star she confessed: "I would come back as a mum I think. I'd love to see her as a mum. I think that would be really interesting if that was why she went away. I think she would probably just leave the baby with Sally and she’d be out all the time."
