Former Coronation Street star Helen Flanagan has spoken about her embarrassing "missing" car episode during a recent trip to London.
Helen has had an eventful couple of weeks and updated her loyal followers with an Instagram video detailing her mini social media hiatus on Friday.
The actress, who starred as Rosie Webster between 2000 and 2012 before a brief return from 2017 to 2018, is usually active on the social media platform but she was silent for several days.
But on Friday, she returned to Instagram as she shared two posts of her posing alongside eldest daughter Matilda during their jaunt to Paris during half-term to her 1 million followers.
Last weekend, the 32-year-old headed to Oh Polly's London Fashion Week show as well as to see her friends after she had taken her three children to see their footballer dad Scott Sinclair before her mishap ensued.
"I went to meet one of my really good friends and we went to The Ned which I was really excited to go to," Helen explained during a video on her Instagram Stories.
"I've only been there once and I was like 'wow this hotel's amazing', so I was really excited to there anyway I was kind of like, I know this sounds really weird, but I just parked my car and it was in the day and when I got out it was obviously really, really dark.
"And, to cut a long story short, I've never done this before and obviously I'm not proud of it - I'm actually quite embarrassed - I know I'm putting this on social, but I couldn't actually find my car."
The mum-of-three continued: "Long story short, I couldn't find my car for like two hours. I thought I was like seven minutes away from the end.
"I know London really well, but not this particular area. I could not find my car, I had to get a taxi to take me around everywhere like every side street because I didn't park it well.
"So yeah, that was that. Then I was thinking Gosh, what is wrong with me?"
Helen also revealed her son, Charlie, was taken to hospital after he ended up slipping "really badly", causing a nasty injury.
She explained to fans that she had been enjoying a day out at a theme park on the day of the incident which saw the family sitting in the hospital for several hours as he was treated for a broken collarbone in Stoke.
Helen said: "It was awful, absolutely horrendous and I had to get an ambulance and he had snapped his collarbone into two, it was horrendous."
