Helen Flanagan has shared how she suffers 'emotional outbursts' before telling of her 'irritation' and people who are 'mean to mums'. The former Coronation Street star took to her Instagram Story to chat to her loyal followers as she had a quiet moment at home.
She appeared fresh-faced in the video, donning a pair of black-rimmed glasses and a pink zip-up jacket while her blond locks were pulled back into a bun. Helen shared how she was laying in bed and admitted to being 'tired' as a busy mum-of-three.
"I've just had my period so that probably explains some of my mood," she said. "I'm quite good at controlling my emotions. I keep quite busy but I always have emotional outbursts when I'm due on."
The soap star, from Bury, went on to get something off her chest that had been on her mind. "Long story short, but I was really annoyed last week because... I won't go into too much detail but basically, I hate it when mums are made to feel uncomfortable. I didn't have Matilda young, but young-ish, and I've always gone everywhere with my kids like flown with them, trains, hotels, restaurants... I've always just gone wherever I want to go."
The 32-year-old went on: "And I just don't like it when you get people basically being rubbish towards you because you've got kids and you're a mum. I'm just babbling but that really irritates me when people are basically just mean to mums.."
Hinting that something may have happened to prompt her annoyance, Helen added: "I'm not going to go into the conversation too much because ti's just too long but I get really, really annoyed when people aren't nice to mums.
Last week, Helen discussed suffering 'mum guilt' while at an event away from home in London. Talking about her kids - daughters Delilah, seven, Matilda, four, and one-year-old son Charlie - Helen told OK! on the blue carpet at the 2022 ITV Palooza: "Yeah, [they are] really good, really good. I came up today but as soon as I was on the train, I got mum guilt I was even away and I was thinking: 'Oh Helen!'
"You do if you’ve got kids, if you leave them for just one night you think: ‘I feel really bad!’ But they’re with their grandma tonight.” It comes after Helen was hailed an "amazing mum" as she took to Instagram to share how "every day is crazy" with her young children, who she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair.
It comes after Helen posted a candid photo on Instgram with her three children in their loungewear as they posed for the camera. The Bury soap star smiled for the camera while her eldest daughter gave a peace sign. "Every day is crazy," Helen, 32, wrote alongside the sweet image. "They are my whole heart, Matilda, Delilah, Charlie," she added. Myleene Klass was among the first to respond to the post, writing: " Super mama," alongside a string of red heart emojis.
