Helen Flanagan was criticised by social media trolls for drinking wine around her children but fans have since rushed to her defence.
The former Coronation Street actress took to her Instagram page to share several candid snaps taken with her children at the family home in Manchester.
Helen, 32, was praised by some for sharing the struggles of being a single parent while also trying to capture an adorable moment with her children.
Snaps saw the actress and her three children enjoying one another's company as she explained she had merely attempted to get a family picture with them but things didn't go to plan.
In one image, Helen could be seen holding what appears to be a glass of rosé while her children, Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two, were playing around her.
Snaps saw Helen trying to pose with her three children as they went about their business and continued to play before Delilah and Charlie made the decision to climb all over Helen, leaving her in fits of laughter.
The star was smiling from ear-to-ear as she enjoyed some much-needed downtime with her children who split their time between living in Manchester with Helen, as well as visiting their dad Scott Sinclair who now lives in Bristol with his mum.
Despite the adorable snaps, some brutal trolls were quick to attempt to criticise Helen for her actions, with one writing: "Drinking in front of the kids... Hmmmm."
A second went on to pen: "Ok drinking & being drunk whilst looking after children is not on."
Helen was evidently not drunk in the snaps as she relaxed while around her children.
Leaping to her defence, fans of the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star penned: "As if people find it acceptable to pull the woman apart she’s got kids occasionally we are all aloud time out even if it means the odd glass of wine whilst they’re there, even kids are allowed a glass with a meal at a restaurant? I hardly went out often when mine were younger so I had a few glasses does that make me a bad mother I think not?"
A second wrote: "Yep that's definitely real life mom pics," alongside laughing emojis.
"Good on you for having glass wine n pay no way to judgeys. You can be a mum n have one or 2 glasses [sic]," penned a third.
Before a fourth typed: "Love this! It's the wine pic for me that's reality! You're an amazing mum."
