Helen Flanagan candidly reveals 'down' moment as she 'lives twenties in her thirties'

Helen Flanagan has candidly shared about suffering a 'down' moment as she spends time away from her children. The actress opened up about her split from her fiance, footballer Scott Sinclair, for the first time ahead of her stint on I'm A Celebrity... South Africa.

Helen, 32, has addressed speculation about her love life after rumours began to swirl earlier this year that she is now single. "We actually broke up in July," Helen has told OK! Magazine about her relationship with Bristol Rovers footballer Scott, with whom she shares her three children - Matilda, Delilah, and son Charlie.

Helen and Scott had been together for 13 years having started dating in 2009, before he proposed in Disneyland Paris in May 2018 before they welcomed their second daughter Delilah the following month.

But the pair are now co-parenting and Scott is currently enjoying quality time with his children and his mum on holiday in Dubai. It comes just a month after Helen whisked the youngsters, aged seven, four and two, off to the UAE during the school Easter break.

Taking to her Instagram on Monday (May 15), she shared a snap of her and two of her offspring as they cuddled in close to their mum with her one million followers. In a second snap, the doting mum could be seen breastfeeding little Charlie at a restaurant table as she gazed down and smiled at him.

She captioned the sweet pictures: “Don’t know what I’d do without my babies." Helen, who is famed for playing Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, also took to her Instagram Story to update fans on her day as she took them along between work commitments.

She said while talking directly to the camera: "Finally not hungover. I’m off to Essex for work. I’m glad that the weather’s better and I don’t have to wear a coat. I’m getting back to Manchester soon, I’ve been in London for days."

She then gave fans a candid update on how she was feeling after time away from her beloved children. "I miss my kids so much," Helen said. "I felt really down actually last night because I really miss them now. I’ve had a really, really fun time, but I feel weird now and I want them back.”

Helen, who looked summer-ready in a flowing floral dress, later updated fans on her day as she sat on a train. "I’ve had such a fun time actually when the kids have gone away," she said. "They’re away with Scott and they’ve had the best time with all their cousins so I know they’re really happy. And obviously, Scott’s amazing with the kids, and his mum is, so I know they’re good.

"It’s been nice actually having my own time. I’ve made sure I’ve gone out with all my friends and I’ve had fun. I kind of feel like I did in my 20s, I acted like I was in my 30s in my 20s and I’m doing more of my own thing now. But I can’t wait to go home, I want to go for a run and do some detox and get some juices down me."
