Residents of the Marigny neighborhood in New Orleans woke up to a heavy law enforcement presence this morning after a truck attack on Bourbon Street. Police officers and ambulances have cordoned off several blocks around Mandeville Street, with authorities arriving in the area around 6:30 a.m. local time.
While the exact details leading to the law enforcement presence have not been disclosed, the neighborhood is located approximately 1.5 miles from where the attack occurred earlier in the day on Bourbon Street.
