It's set to be another very hot day today, July 12, amid a heatwave that's hit the country this week.
Temperatures are set to be slightly cooler than yesterday, which is claimed to be the hottest day of the year so far as temperatures hit 29 degrees in Leeds with the sun beaming down. Although temperatures won't be quite as high you will still want to stay cool.
Some bright spells possible at times throughout Tuesday says the Met Office, but generally it will be rather cloudy. Maximum temperature 25 °C.

Leeds
Leeds will see a largely cloudy day as cloud is forecast from sunrise at 4.50am until 7pm, says the Met Office. Sunny intervals are forecast from 8pm and the sun will break through the clouds making for a sunny evening from 9pm until sunset at 9.33pm.
Temperatures will reach 25C.
Outlook for Tuesday across Yorkshire:
Largely dry, with some bright spells possible at times, but generally it will be rather cloudy. Still feeling warm, although a breeze picking up in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 26 °C.
Outlook for Yorkshire on Wednesday to Friday:
Largely dry, with sunny spells, although a few showers are possible Thursday and Friday, mainly across the Pennines.
