Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, Daphne Zuniga Return To Melrose

Nostalgic reboot of 1990s drama 'Melrose Place' with original cast members.

Television audiences are in for a nostalgic treat as the iconic 1990s drama 'Melrose Place' gears up for yet another reboot. This time around, the revival will see the return of three original cast members - Heather Locklear, Laura Leighton, and Daphne Zuniga.

The new iteration of 'Melrose Place' will be spearheaded by writer Lauren Gussis, who will also serve as an executive producer alongside Leighton, Zuniga, Tiffany Grant, and Jason Weinberg. The premise of the reboot revolves around the sudden death of a dear friend, prompting the OG residents of Melrose Place to come together for a reunion. However, the gathering quickly unravels old traumas, reignites romances, stirs up resentments, and unveils new secrets, leading to a whirlwind of chaotic drama with a modern twist.

The revival is being produced by CBS Studios and is based on the original series created by Darren Star. The original 'Melrose Place' enjoyed a successful seven-season run on Fox from 1992 to 1999, featuring a star-studded cast that included Thomas Calabro, Josie Bissett, Andrew Shue, and more. The addition of Heather Locklear as Amanda Woodward injected new energy into the show and elevated it to new heights.

In addition to Locklear, the rebooted series will see the return of Laura Leighton and Daphne Zuniga, who played pivotal roles in the original drama. The reboot of 'Melrose Place' aired on The CW from 2009 to 2010, introducing a new generation of viewers to the iconic address and its residents.

Fans of the original series can look forward to the revival bringing back the essence of the beloved show while infusing it with a contemporary perspective. With the reunion of familiar faces and the promise of fresh drama, the new 'Melrose Place' is poised to captivate audiences once again.
