Heated energy products on offer this Amazon Prime Day 2022 that will slash price of next energy bill

Amazon has reduced thousands of its prices as it kicks of the October Prime Day sale, from now until 11.59pm tomorrow (October, 12) shoppers can enjoy money-off a selection of household products including some that could be crucial for many households this winter.

Its 'Early Access' sale is thought to be a hint at what's expected to come in the big Black Friday discounts, as the global sale event is only next month on November 25. Prime Day normally takes place in mid-July and is well known for its host of discounted phones, TV's, tablets and tech devices like Amazon's Echo Dot.

Even though shoppers can still buy these things at a great discount today and tomorrow, there's been a shift in front page deal products as shopping habits change in line with the cost of living crisis and energy prices.

Like this heated airer, taking one of the front page spots this Prime Day sale, at £39.09 it will save households money when trying to dry wash-loads this winter, as it is expected to only cost pennies to run.

Similar to Aldi's sell-out heated airer that costs just 7p an hour to run, Amazon has shifted the type of its deals in this event with a prominent focus on money-saving products.

Next up is a simple yet cost-effective way to keep warm this winter and its in the Prime Early Access sale for £9.99. The Revitale Hot Water Bottle has a saving of £1.96 and is a perfect addition to keeping you warm at night. This Beurer Heat Pad is 35% off at a deal price of £24.79 and is designed to wrap around your body.

Another device in the sale, and again designed to keep you warm all night long is an electric blanket. There are a handful of these listed in the sale today but this Dreamland Starlight Express Fleece one is 20% off at £27.99.

The reason we recommend this product is because it takes just 10 minutes to warm a bed up for the whole night, using the energy calculator site Sus-it we measured to see how much this would cost in energy. For a household on the current standard tariff it would cost an average of 5p to warm a bed for the whole night, a lot cheaper than having your heating on.

Since energy bills have gone up and households have struggled to heat their homes one tip that has been shared by a lot of consumer experts is to heat the room you're in the most and not try to heat the whole house.

This Electric Heater is designed to come into every room with you around the house, whether its a night watching TV, in your room, kitchen or when you're working from home. It's now 20% off at £30.29 and would cost around 50p an hour to have on.
