The rising cost of living in the UK means most of us are looking to save money where we can, especially when it comes to energy bills.
With the cold weather returning, drying clothes outside is becoming much slower, but many people are wanting to avoid using tumble dryers as they use a lot of electricity.
An energy-efficient heated airer is a great alternative for those watching their money and one particular option we spotted from Dunelm costs less than 10p an hour to run.
According to data provided by Uswitch, one tumble dryer cycle currently costs around 32p, but this is set to rise to 59p in October under the new price cap.
Dunelm says its £65 Heated Clothes Airer With Wings costs approximately 6p per hour to run, with a wattage of only 230.
The item has gone down a storm with several shoppers and some have even left glowing reviews of it on the Dunelm website.
Crafted from aluminium and metal, it's impressively sturdy and features 18 bars to dry your clothes on. Suitable for up to 15kg of washing, the versatile piece also folds down flat, making it ideal for easy storage.
Th Dunelm electrical airer has been getting a lot of praise online, with one person calling it the "best invention ever" in a five-star review.
"My teenagers and I have one of these in each of our bedrooms," the shopper said.
"It dries laundry quickly and economically and as an added benefit it keeps your room warm in winter. Highly recommend!"
Another said: "I’m really pleased with this drying rack. I had some reservations because the reviews are very mixed. I’m glad I went ahead because it’s brilliant. It comfortably held a generous load from the washing machine.
"It dries efficiently and is safe because the heat isn’t excessive but sufficient to dry the laundry.
I turned items over after a few hours and used a cover over it. The cover makes a HUGE difference and dries things much faster with it on."
