Miami Heat rookie Jaime Jaquez Jr. has hit a stride during the early stages of his NBA career, quickly emerging as one of the best players from the draft class. And in year one of his professional career, he now has a clip to keep stored away to show his future children, or at least that’s his plan.
Jaquez hit an impressive turnaround jumper over Los Angeles Lakers star and future Hall-of-Famer LeBron James during Wednesday night’s 110-96 victory. On Thursday, he was asked about the shot and gave the perfect answer.
“I’m going to have that video and I’m going to show that to my kids, when I have kids,” Jaquez told Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald.
If you haven’t seen the clip, Jaquez is right to keep it stored in his personal post-career highlights, as it was pretty impressive.
