Europe has been sweltering in record breaking temperatures in recent weeks as scientists warned that longer spells of sizzling heatwaves are on the cards if something is not done about global warming.
The "heat dome", which originated from a band of high pressure over Western Europe, is rising, causing many countries to battle extreme weather.
Firefighters in France, Spain, Greece and Britain have struggled to cope with wildfires exacerbated by the soaring temperatures, with authorities in Greece even having to order the evacuation of a hospital in Athens.

Ireland too, saw record breaking temperatures last week, reaching highs of 32 degrees in places.
But will the hot weather be making a return?
Met Eireann has said sunny spells and a few showers will be seen for the remainder of today before showers become mainly confined to Ulster.
However, highest temperatures will stay relatively low, ranging from around 16 degrees in the northwest to 20 degrees in the southeast.
The high heats experienced last week are unlikely to return to such heights in the near future, but conditions will be mainly dry with a mix of cloud and clear spells.
Lowest temperatures of 7 to 11 degrees tonight with a light northwest or variable breeze.
Tomorrow will be mostly dry with a mix of cloud and sunny spells, with just the isolated shower around.
Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 or 19 degrees with a light northwest or variable breeze.
It will be dry and mostly clear overnight. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees with light variable breezes.
Cloud will build through the morning on Wednesday, and scattered showers will develop. Highest temperatures of 15 to 18 degrees with light southerly breezes.
Remaining cloudy overnight with a few isolated showers, mainly in the east. Lowest temperatures of 9 to 11 degrees, with a light easterly airflow.
Mainly dry on Thursday with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. However, a few light showers are possible, especially in the east.
Highest temperatures of 17 to 20 or 21 degrees with light easterly breezes.
Thursday night will be largely dry and clear, with lows of 9 to 11 degrees.
A largely dry start on Friday. However, rain will move in from the Atlantic during the afternoon.
Some eastern areas may stay dry until Friday night with highs of 19 to 23 or 24 degrees with a moderate southerly airflow developing.
