Footage of a newlywed couple being piped down the iconic Royal Mile over the weekend has been shared with Edinburgh Live.
The video, which was captured by the World’s End Pub on Edinburgh’s High Street, shows a wedding entourage following a bagpiper down the road.
They are being applauded by onlookers who are sitting outside on the Royal Mile as they pass by several businesses.

The piper is wearing full traditional attire and the bride is seen following closely behind in a beautiful white wedding gown with her groom looking handsome in a navy blue suit.
The World’s End Pub tweeted along with the video: “A piper leading the way down the Royal Mile and a round of applause from customers outside the pub for a couple of newlyweds just now…lovely stuff #edinburgh”
The boozer, which is popular with both tourists and city centre locals, is described as: “A friendly, spacious local serving up cask ales and an extensive menu featuring specialty burgers.”
