Chris Hemsworth will make his CBeebies debut on Friday as he joins a list of A-listers who've read stories on the show.
The Australian actor, 38, best known for his role as Marvel's Thor, will tell the tale of a bear who is "frightened of the rain and thunder".
The story, Stormy Night, is written by Salina Yoon, who also penned the popular kids' book Who's Boo?
Dad-of-three Chris said of making his debut: "I love nothing more than reading bedtime stories to my children and it was a joy to get to read Stormy Night, a story about a little bear who is scared of storms.
"Even though I know a thing or two about thunder and lightning, I always feel better when the storm passes."
The actor joins an illustrious cast who've voiced the popular series, including Tom Hiddleston, Reese Witherspoon and Tom Hardy.
Chris is married to Spanish actress Elsa Pataky, who he shares kids India, 10, and twins Sasha and Tristan, eight with.
The Aussie is gearing up for Thor: Love and Thunder and recently revealed his son and daughter are in the film.
“It’s really cool. They really wanted to be in it,” he said in interview with TV presenter Kevin McCarthy.
Chris also revealed the film's director Taika Waititi, who is engaged to Rita Ora, and his co-star's kids are in the flick too.
“Taika had his children in there. Christian Bale had his. Natalie had her kids as well," he said.
Chris' 10-year-old daughter India plays the character of Love, while one of his twin sons Sasha and Tristan, 8, share the role of young Thor.
“It felt sort of like a one-off, fun family experience,” Chris gushed.
“I don’t want them to now go and be child stars and actors. It was just a special experience we all had and I loved it. They had a great time.”
The Aussie star, whose brother is actor Liam Hemsworth has come a long way from his days on soap Home and Away, where he played Kim Hyde from 2004–2007 before beginning a film career in Hollywood.
Chris wasn't an overnight success in Tinseltown though, previously admitting he almost gave up on his dream for before bagging the role of Thor.
