Hearts v Rangers on TV: Channel, kick-off time and live stream details

Rangers make the trip to the capital to face Hearts as the domestic football returns to take centre stage.

Club sides have had the past fortnight off due to the international break with Steve Clarke and Scotland enjoying a successful outcome from their Nations League triple-header by securing promotion and a guaranteed Euro 2024 play-off spot.

But the full focus switches back to club duties with Giovanni van Bronckhorst looking to put pressure on champions Celtic by picking up three points and going top of the table before their clash with Motherwell. But it won't be easy with Hearts raring to go after a Europa Conference League win over RFS and victory over the Steelmen before the break.

Hearts can go level on points with Rangers with a win while the visitors will be desperate to leave Gorgie with maximum points after Celtic's shock loss to St Mirren Paisley in the last round of fixtures.

Here is all the information you need ahead of the Tynecastle showdown.

Team news

Giovanni van Bronckhorst previously revealed Tom Lawrence had a good chance of returning after the international break. It will be a very close call whether he makes the clash with Hearts.

John Souttar and Filip Helander remain out injured and will take a bit of time to regain full fitness.

Kemar Roofe is continuing to work hard behind the scenes and hinted a return may not be far off on social media. However, it remains to be seen if he will be part of the squad for the capital.

Jon McLaughlin missed the last two Rangers matches through injury and pulled out the international squad with Allan McGregor featuring in both club games before the break.

Robbie Neilson hopes to have Craig Halkett back fit and available.

Kye Rowles is still a few weeks away from a return while Lewis Neilson should be fine for this one.

Stephen Kingsley - fresh of a Scotland cap against Ukraine - will return to his club side with Barrie McKay following their late call-ups by national team boss Steve Clarke.
