Albion Rovers' Hearts loanee Harry Stone says regular games at Cliftonhill is invaluable for his future career ambitions.
The goalkeeper is highly-rated at the Jambos and his stock soared last season after an impressive loan spell with the Coatbridge club.
It attracted Championship side Partick Thistle to his services, but after matches proved hard to come by, Stone dropped back to League Two with Brian Reid's men.
He had a solid game midweek during a 0-0 Rovers draw with runaway league leaders Kelty Hearts, his fourth game since returning in late January.
Locked in a battle for the number one spot with Cammy Binnie, a clean sheet against Kelty was another positive moment for Stone in his time at the Wee Rovers.
Commenting on his loan so far ahead of facing Forfar today, the 19-year-old said: "It was a good result against the league leaders and we were actually a bit disappointed not to get the win.
"We certainly had more chances than them. You take a point against Kelty Hearts as well. It's been great to be back and I am really enjoying things when I'm playing.
"It was an easy decision to come back. I was convinced that this was the best place for me and its turning out well for me.
"It's great with the fans too, as I didn't get to have that chance to play in front of them last season. So it's been brilliant so far. The most important thing for me is my games played.
"I'll work as hard as I can every day but the decision lies with the manager. No matter what he says, I'll try my best to get some games."
The teenager has Binnie to work with at Rovers, but he also trains with parent club Hearts during the week, learning from Scotland number one Craig Gordon.
Stone added: "Everybody around me looks after me, which is a credit to each person. They make sure I get the best for me. I've got great people to learn off and I'm in a good position.
"The stint last season was great. It was my first loan and we played twice a week. I loved it. It's a different challenge this time but it's all part of my learning curve."
