Hearts squad revealed for Rangers as Craig Halkett dilemma hangs over Scottish Cup showdown

It's a huge chance for Hearts to lift their first Scottish Cup in a decade as they face Rangers.

Since their last win in the famous 5-1 thrashing of Hibs in 2012, the Jambos have featured in two finals but failed to lift the trophy.

They will sense the opportunity to see off Gio van Bronckhorst's side after an emotional defeat in the Europa League Final action just three days before the Hampden showdown.

Not just that, but Robbie Neilson is set to have a full squad to select from with the exception of long-term absentee Beni Baningime.

The return of Craig Halkett from injury off the bench at Tynecastle on the final day of the Premiership season could be a massive lift for the side.

Only a month ago, it was thought the centre-back would not be fit enough for the national stadium amid fears an ankle injury would need surgery.

But the 26-year-old was given minutes in the league meeting with Rangers in a chance to get himself up to speed for the Final.

Neilson now faces a big call on whether the should throw the key defender back into the starting line-up at the national stadium.
