Craig Gordon 9
Stunning performances have become the norm. While he was on the losing side the keeper was superb again at Hampden. Denied Kent twice and a ridiculous stop from Aribo but had no chance with the goals.
Stephen Kingsley 7
Assured in defence but limited in his influence going forward. Composed on the ball and when defending.
John Souttar 8
He’s heading to Rangers in the summer, but was magnificent against them in his final Hearts appearance. A towering performance throwing his body on the line throughout.
Craig Halkett 7
Part of a solid back-three for the majority of the afternoon. Barely put a foot wrong and was commanding in his own penalty box winning everything.
Alex Cochrane 6
A decent showing at wing-back but limited offensively. Managed Tavernier and Diallo well enough but Wright caused problems.
Nathaniel Atkinson 6
A really tough afternoon with Kent and Bassey constantly flying forward, but stood up to the test. Did everything he could to try and drive his side forward.
Peter Haring 6
Battled all afternoon in the middle of the park. A warrior for the Hearts team but couldn’t dictate play or really get a foothold on the game.
Cameron Devlin 6
Relentless pressing and effort in the engine room but again struggled to show his creativity or attacking play as Rangers after break.
Barrie McKay 5
Much quieter than he’d have liked. Has bags of ability but wasn’t able to show it at Hampden.
Ellis Simms 6
Effective in the first-half winning headers and holding the ball up well. Inches away from opener with sliding effort off post after ten minutes.
Liam Boyce 6
Fit enough to start and gave everything until his substitution. Some tidy period of play but unable to find a clear chance for himself.
Andy Halliday (for Boyce, 76) 4
On for closing stages and extra-time.
Josh Ginnelly (for McKay, 82) 4
Industrious but lacked service.
Gary Mackay-Steven (for Cochrane, 100) 3
Quiet in his cameo.
Aaron McEneff (for Devlin, 105) 3
On for final minutes
