Hearts injury update on Craig Gordon, Stephen Kingsley, Cammy Devlin and Alex Cochrane

Robbie Neilson has provided a positive injury update on his Hearts stars as they rounded off the perfect week with a three goal victory at Motherwell.

The Jambos had been on a poor run of form before picking up a massive confidence boosting Europa Conference League win over RFS in Latvia. That result pushed them into second in the section after two games and sent the travelling fans wild. Fast forward three days later and it was back to domestic matters at Fir Park.

It was a case of déjà vu as midweek scores Lawrence Shankland and Alan Forrest repeated the same feat in Lanarkshire - with the latter scoring a double this time as they secured a big three points and put themselves third behind Celtic and Rangers in the Premiership standings going into the international break.

The Sunday clash wasn't without complications with skipper and Scotland No1 Craig Gordon needing treatment during the game while Stephen Kingsley, Alex Cochrane and Cammy Devlin also picked up knocks.

But Neilson has revealed he has no fears over any of the injuries and that were all just contact rather than muscular in a huge boost to the Tynecastle side.

He said: "All the injuries were contact injuries. None of them were muscular.

"Craig [Gordon] will be fine for international duty. I think it would take a lot for Craig to miss that. It was just a contact thing when he landed, hurt his knee a wee bit.

"Stephen [Kingsley] got a wee kick on his knee, [Alex] Cochrane took a knock on the hip.

"Cammy [Devlin] just likes a clap when he comes off. He's bouncing about in there."
