Heart of Midlothian goalkeeper Craig Gordon and former sports TV host Summer Harl have announced their engagement in a heartwarming social media post.
The couple got engaged in secret on December 21, 2022 - just days before Craig sustained a horror double leg break in a 2-2 draw with Dundee United on Christmas Eve.
Summer announce the exciting news on Instagram as she gushed over being "Mrs Gordon to be". She shared a sweet video of the pair's children revealing a sparkling diamond ring.
The couple, who have two sons together, have been together since 2017 after Craig split from his first wife Jennifer Gordon. Craig has two children from his previous marriage, daughters Freya and Emma. All four children were involved in announcing the engagement of their dad and his new fiancée.

In the video, the families hands are all stacked up on one another. One at a time, with Gordon first, the family take their hands away to reveal Summer's at the bottom, sporting a gorgeous engagement ring.
Writing on Instagram, Summer captioned the post: "Just over a month ago, all these hands - big and small, had a hand in the BEST moment. 21.12.22.
"A lot has happened since, and almost immediately after, so we decided to hold off celebrating for a bit, but sharing this (happier) news with family and friends has been so lovely.
"YES x 1,000,000. Mrs Gordon to be!"
The statement of "a lot has happened" alludes to the obvious horror injury Craig sustained in December, which is understood to be the reason why the couple have held off on announcing the engagement.
Fans of the Jambo keeper and former football reporter have flocked to the comments of Summer's post to share their congratulations, and best wishes for the newly-engaged couple.
One Instagram user wrote: "I just love this, so happy for you all."
Another said: "Yayyyy Congratulations Summer and Craig."
And a third wrote: "So so happy for you both."
More comments read: "Congratulations to you all!"
While others said: "BEST NEWS EVER!"
One noted: "It’s just making it official. Just love how much the girls love you and that’s all that matters!"
Another added: "Massive Congratulations you pair!"
And finally, one concluded: "Congratulations to you both, can't wait to see Ace and Axel in their wee kilts (or wee morning suits)."
We join in to send our congratulations to the happy couple, and wish them all the best in their new journey together.
