Hearts fan ejected from Hibs clash over 'racist' remark

A Heart of Midlothian supporter was ejected from Tynecastle during today's Edinburgh derby clash against Hibernian relating to an alleged racist incident.

As per Sky Sports, it is alleged that a Hearts fan allegedly made a racist remark towards the Hibs bench in the aftermath of the opening goal in Gorgie.

The support has since been arrested by Police Scotland, according to a club statement from Hearts.

It reads: "The club can confirm that a supporter has been ejected from the stadium and arrested in relation to an alleged incident of racism.

"The club condemns racism and any abusive behaviour.

"It will not comment further on active police matters."
