Hearts discover 14 potential Europa League opponents as Turkish giants and Irish trips among ties

Hearts have discovered the 14 teams they could face in their two-legged European play-off in August.

The Jambos will take to Europa League action one stage away from the group stages, knowing a victory would put them into a six-game run of matches in UEFA's second-tier competition. A place in the Europa Conference League groups is already confirmed even if a loss is suffered but a spot in the competition above would guarantee more prize money and a wider selection of glamour ties at Tynecastle.

Twelve teams have dropped from the Champions League second qualifying round into the Europa League third qualifying round to join Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade and Slovacko of Czech Republic. Those 14 teams now face each other to determine who makes it to the play-offs. The draw for that phase takes place next Tuesday at 12pm and can be watched via UEFA's website. There's a vast array of ties Hearts could be landed with.
