Hearts and Hibs split fixtures in full including final Edinburgh derby date in battle for Europe

Hearts and Hibs have discovered their top six fixture list including the date for the final Edinburgh derby.

Interim boss Steven Naismith didn't have to worry going into the final round of fixtures about the Jambos' fate despite a horror run of five defeats on the spin in the league ahead of facing Ross County. However, they finally got that all important win to get back on track in the hunt for third spot and European football next season in emphatic fashion. The Jambos hit the bottom of the table club for SIX in a stunning afternoon in the capital.

The Hibees also are dreaming of a return to the big stage after securing their top six status at McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone. Lee Johnson's men, reduced to ten, picked up a 1-1 draw against a Saints side playing for the first time since Callum Davidson's departure. Livingston's defeat at Dundee United meant a win was not required as the focus now turns to the European battle.
