Holly Willoughby has been showered with support from celebrity pals and fans after sharing news of a heartbreaking family death. The This Morning host took to Instagram on Saturday (July 8) to share the sad news that her mother-in-law had died.
Sharing a picture with Sandra, mum of her husband Daniel Baldwin, Holly wrote in a heartfelt caption on the social media platform, seen by her 8.3 million followers: "Sleep well Sandra… Nonna, Mother, Sister, friend… To know her was to know strength itself.
"Raising four children after losing her husband, she then lost a son and more recently her sister… Thank you for your guidance, advice and bottomless Prosecco."

Holly, 42, finished her emotional post by added: "Thank you for raising the incredible man I’m married to… I see your strength everyday in our children… Be at peace… Love you ."
The comments were soon filled with many of Holly's celebrity friends and followers sharing their condolences over the sad loss. This Morning co-host Craig Doyle wrote: "I am so sorry for your loss Holly. Condolences to Dan and all the family."
Fellow This Morning regular Vanessa Feltz said: "I am so terribly sorry to hear of Sandra’s passing. I had such a memorable conversation with her. She exuded wisdom kindness and warmth. Sending love to you Dan and the whole family " Broadcaster Kate Thornton replied: "Beautiful words for a truly beautiful and remarkable woman. I’m so sorry she’s no longer with you. Sending my heartfelt condolences x"
Presenter Davina McCall shared: "Awww x Im sorry holly. Love to Dan and the kids too." Former reality star Mark Wright commented: "Sorry for your loss Hol & Dan." Comedia and TV star Leigh Francis, also known by alter ego Keith Lemon, posted: "Sending big hugs and happy thoughts."
Her sister Kelly also shared: "We are heartbroken for you all. Sandra will be so missed. She was never happier than when she was surrounded by the family she worked so hard to build and guide. Sending you all so much love at the most painful of times. Sandra, may you rest in peace."

Holly has been married to her TV producer husband Dan since 2007 and they share three children together, Harry, 13, Belle, 11, and Chester, eight. Holly doesn't often discuss her relationship with Dan and is fiercely private when it comes to her family life with her children rarely appearing on social media.
