The family of a young mum who died following a car crash have said she will “be in their hearts forever” as hundreds of people mourn her death.
Stephanie Burnfield, namely locally, passed away on Thursday morning after the car she was driving crashed into a wall in Johnstone.
The 31-year-old, from Johnstone, was in the only person in the blue Vauxhall Astra when the collision happened at the junction of Beith Road and Overton Road at 3.30am.

Earlier today, her family said the mum-of-two will be so dearly missed by so many.
Her mum, Helen Burnfield, wrote on Facebook: “Today our beautiful daughter Stephanie sadly lost her life.
“We will keep you in our thoughts and hearts forever.
“Our love for you will never end. Love mum and dad.”
Her sisters Samantha and Jenny were among dozens of people to leave floral tributes and notes at the crash site.
In a moving message to her sister, Jenny said: “Life will never be the same without you.
“You were a great big sister and I will treasure all of our memories forever.
“I would do anything to see you one last time.”
Samantha thanked friends for their condolences and messages of support.
Writing on Facebook, she said: “Stephanie, you have left a huge hole in all our hearts that will never be filled. My beautiful sister, you will be missed so dearly by so many.
“You have left behind two beautiful kids who will always love you and now miss you.
“We will all cherish our memories with you and keep you in our thoughts and hearts forever. We love you more than you will ever know.”
Hundreds of people responded to Samantha’s message, with dozens of people remembering Stephanie as a girl who had given them so many joyous memories.
Rachel McKernan wrote: “So sorry to hear about Stephanie. I have loads of great memories and will never forget our time together as teenagers, I’m devastated for you all.”
Euan Blackwood added: “So sorry to hear this. It is years since I worked with Steph but she was always buzzing and full of joy. Such a shame, sorry for your loss.”
Lauren Mcginley wrote: “So many amazing memories with you all and Steph from our childhood. Thoughts are with you all.”
Sheila Lyburn posted: “I had the pleasure of working with both Stephanie and Jenny Burnfield, two of the loveliest people. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.”
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses of the crash to come forward.
Sergeant James Crawford, of Renfrewshire and Inverclyde Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen the car before the crash to get in touch with us.
“Likewise, anyone who may have dashcam footage of that area please review it and contact police with anything that may be relevant.”
