Tributes have been paid to a man who was found dead more than two weeks after being reported missing.
The body of Jamie Reid was discovered near Queensway in East Kilbride on Tuesday evening.
The 44-year-old from Burnbank had disappeared in East Kilbride on June 24 with a further sighting of him reported on June 25 at a soup kitchen in Hamilton. He hadn't been seen or heard from since leaving his loved ones frantic with worry.
A number of tributes have been shared for the well-known Hamilton man.

Jamie's step-daughter Cody Falconer said she was "heartbroken" following the news.
Posting on social media, she said: "Absolutely heartbroken, I am that numb I don’t even know what to say not going to be getting my crazy texts asking for stuff or just a FaceTime to see the boys. I just knew they were something off and just not sitting with me.
'We aw out tried our best to find you alive and hoped for a miracle you were going to be alive, even when you were found asleep tonight.
"We will be up to lay you some flowers and have a wee chit chat, wish this was a big ass dream, my heart's bleeding for my wee mum, totally broken to a million tiny, tiny little pieces, why, why I keep questioning ma self. Me and my boys love you so much."
Bernadette Falconer added: "I really hope you made it safely to heaven and your brother was standing waiting on you to crack ye.
"I hope you have found peace and are free from all your demons I know you're in a much better place and pray you're free from all the pain and fear you suffered.
"I will forever remember you free from it all.
"We tried everything we could and held onto so much hope you would come home safely. Love you always."
Local councillor Maureen Chalmers said: "So sorry to hear this news. Sending much love and condolences to Jamie’s family."
Another commenter added: "He was a good guy he will be missed by all the guests and volunteers at the Hamilton Church Drop-in Centre."
A former school friend wrote: "Thoughts are with Jamie's family, good memories of Jamie growing up and going to school together."
