"The memories we all have with our dad and friend will be something we will cherish with us forever. As his family and friends we want to give him to goodbye he deserves and he would want which is why we are reaching out for the support to give him the best send off we possibly can.
"Any little amount helps towards the cost of the funeral and would be appreciated by us all. Please donate what you can as any little really does help us celebrate the life he has with us all."
He had planned to take his son Ethan away for his 18th birthday to celebrate, and this year would have also marked his 50th birthday. The family said in a statement: "It was my dad's last wish to take his son and best friend Ethan away for his 18th birthday and what would have been my dad's 50th this year so any remaining money would go forwards the cost of his holiday."
