Xavier Gipson’s game-winning walk-off punt return gave the New York Jets and their fans something to cheer about on a depressing night.
After Aaron Rodgers’ injury, the Jets somehow got to overtime against the Buffalo Bills, and it was there Gipson caught a punt, stepped up, turned to the sideline and took off before weaving his way through a crowd — with a heck of a move to fool punter Sam Martin — and scoring to win the Monday night game.
Bob Wischusen was on the mic with the call on Jets radio, and his narration is just perfect and thrilling, matching the action on the field. Just awesome:
