Health officials report six more COVID-19-related deaths in New Brunswick

FREDERICTON — Six more people have died as a result of COVID-19 in New Brunswick. 

Provincial figures show that as of today, 258 people have died as a result of the illness in the province since the start of the pandemic.  

The latest deaths involve four people from the Campbellton region and two from the Moncton area. 

There are 162 people in hospital with COVID-19, a drop of one since Friday. 

There are 17 patients in intensive care and 9 people on a ventilator.  

The provincial dashboard says there are 399 health care staff who are isolating after testing positive for COVID-19.
